Princes William and Harry got to pay a special visit to the set of a little movie called Star Wars: Episode VIII and had their experience documented with a series of photos posted to The British Monarchy Facebook page.

They look like they're having a blast, engaging in lightsaber duels and meeting the cast — Prince Harry hugging Chewbacca stands out as a personal favorite — but there is a cool reveal that Star Wars fans will notice straight away: The return of the A-wing starfighter.

Check it out:

Yup, that's Prince Harry sitting in the cockpit of what has to be an A-wing (not to mention being coached on targeting womp rats by ace pilot Luke Skywalker).

We haven't seen the A-wing since Return of the Jedi, but it looks like the small starship will be making a return in Episode VIII, albeit a little modified — you'll notice the ridge around the cockpit is a bit different and there are some new markings around the hull.

There are also glimpses of an X-wing in many of the shots, indicating the set is a Resistance hangar:

There's also a host of lightsaber props behind the two brothers dueling, including Rey and Kylo Ren's hilts:

It's not much, or even that unexpected, but any new details on Episode VIII are a high-value commodity as far as this writer is concerned.
