This week, Disney has made a huge effort to show us they haven't forgotten about Disney World. In the past few years, Disney has mainly focused it's attention on Disneyland and it's parks in other countries. The most magical place on earth has largely stayed the same, except for an update to Fantasy Land in the Magic Kingdom. However, with Universal constantly updating it's parks, Disney has finally decided to fight back. Here's everything they covered from this year and looking forward!

MagicBand Gets A Little More Magical!

MagicBands can currently open your hotel room, buy a meal, and get you into a park, but Disney says to expect something new. Coming soon, look throughout the parks for random 'Magical Moments' which will activate using your MagicBand!

Disney Springs, Springs Into Action Starting This Spring!

May 15 will bring the opening of the Town Center section of the outdoor Disney shopping mall. Expect new shops and, more importantly, PARKING GARAGES! Hopefully this means we won't have to spend half of our designated shopping time circling full parking lots!

A New Princess!

Disney is debuting the new Latina princess named Elena. Her debut at the Magic Kingdom's new show 'Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire' (I never said this was the park for adults) will foreshadow her own show on the Disney Channel later on.

Dory Gets More Attention!

The Seas with Nemo and Friends' Turtle Talk attraction will be getting some new talent in the form of Dory and her new friends from the upcoming film Finding Dory.

Disney Just Won't 'Let It Go'!

In June, 'Frozen Ever After' will open in Epcot's Norway pavilion. Expect long lines of children in that area this summer.

Soarin' Finally Gets An Epcot Worthy Update!

June 17, 'Soarin' Over California' will get an update befitting of a Disney 'World' attraction. Now, Soarin' Around the World will take us all over the planet to places like the Great Wall and Sydney Harbor!

Star Wars In The Night Sky!

This summer, Hollywood Studios will finally introduce it's own fireworks display featuring Star Wars. According to Disney, it will be one of their best fireworks displays ever! YES!!!!!!!!

Night Fall In The Animal Kingdom!

Animal Kingdom will now feature later hours which brings night time fun! Memorial Day weekend brings the new show 'Jungle Book: Alive With Music' and the night time version of Kilimanjaro Safaris!

While other parks have served Alcohol for a while now, Hollywood Studios has yet to offer up drinks for the grown-ups. Now Disney is opening a Tower of Terror themed bar near the ride's exit!

The Future Of Star Wars!

Disney unveiled more details on the huge Star Wars expansion coming to Disneyland and Hollywood Studios through a video:
