Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 Introduction
Well, thank you Professor McGonagall for giving us permission to do this article. Here's what we already know in [Harry Potter](tag:1523709) and the Deathly Hallows Part 2: There are more Horcruxes to find and destroy them in order to kill Voldemort, there was a big war at Hogwarts, a part of Voldemort lives inside Harry which that would explain why Voldemort would get inside Harry's mind and Harry would get inside of Voldemort's mind, Snape always loved Harry's mother, Snape was always protecting Harry for Lily, Snape was the one that helped Harry find the Sword of Gryffindor in the lake in the previous film, Voldemort has to kill Harry from the Horcrux he created inside Harry, Ron and Hermione kissed where Harry destroyed Tom Riddle's diary, Rowena Ravenclaw knew Voldemort a.k.a Tom Riddle, in the end Ron married Hermione and have kids and Harry married Ginny they also have kids together. Here are some more interesting facts about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.
1. Awkward Hug
According to Tom Felton, when Voldemort awkwardly hugged Draco, it was not in the script, but Ralph Fiennes as Voldemort came up with the idea.
2. Professor McGonagall vs. Professor Snape
The fight between Professor McGonagall and Professor Snape was going to be changed into Harry Potter against Professor Snape until J.K Rowling scratched off the idea because she thought it would be good for Maggie Smith as Professor McGonagall to duel with Professor Snape.
3. What Does The Name "Voldemort" Mean?
Voldemort created 7 Horcruxes: 1. Nagini 2. Tom Riddle's Diary 3. Rowena Ravenclaw's Diadem 4. Harry 5. The Cup 6. The Ring 7. Slytherin Necklace, he created all of these Horcruxes to cheat death and become immortal. Although, the name, Voldemort is French for "Flight of Death", or it can also mean, "Steal/Cheat of Death."
4. Harry Potter Movie Marathon
If you watch all 8 Harry Potter films it would be 18 hours and 20 minutes long all together.
5. How Long Is This Movie?
This film is 2 hours and 10 minutes, this is the shortest Harry Potter film in the series.
6. Meet The Entire Black Family
The House of Black is one of the largest wizard families in the wizard world. Many characters in the film are connected to the Black family, which Sirius only appears in one scene in this film, Sirius' cousins are Bellatrix Black Lestrange, her sister is Narcissa Black Malfoy and Draco Malfoy. Tonks is the daughter of Andromeda Black. A woman named Calidorra Black married Charles Potter, making James Potter and Harry Potter related to the Black family. Cedrella Black married a man named Septimus Weasley, which makes the entire Weasley family related to the Black's as well.
7. This Movie Won An Academy Award?
This is the only Harry Potter film in the series to be Oscar nominated for the Best Make-Up and Hairstyling Academy Award.
8. Harry Potter Is Still Alive
When Harry revealed to everyone that he was still alive in the Hogwarts courtyard, Draco was meant to break ranks with the Death Eaters and throw Harry his wand. Although the scene was filmed it wasn't put in the film.
9. Who Killed Remus and Tonks?
Even though it was never mentioned in the film or in the book on who killed Remus Lupin and Tonks, J.K Rowling revealed that Bellatrix killed Tonks while Dolohov killed Remus.
10. Emma Watson Doing Two Separate Kissing Scenes
When Emma Watson was still young, she was asked in a interview how she would feel about kissing Daniel Radcliffe or Rupert Grint, she replied, "No chance! It's not written in my contract!" By the end of the series, she ended up having to kiss both of them, but, of course, in different scenes.
11. "Not My Daughter You Bitch!" - Molly Weasley
Besides Harry causing Voldemort's spell to backfire, Molly Weasley killed a Death Eater, Bellatrix Lestrange.
12. Ron and Hermione Kiss
Both Emma Watson and Rupert Grint said in separate interviews that filming their on-screen kiss was an "extremely awkward" experience, since both Emma and Rupert said that they've always felt, "like brother and sister". It took only 6 takes to complete their kiss, by comparison, for Harry and Ginny, it took around 10 takes, Ron and Lavender took 15 takes, Harry and Cho took over 30 takes.
13. Adding Things In Snape's Memories
The filmmakers took many creative liberties with Severus Snape's memories in the Pensieve. In addition, to adding scenes that were not in the book, such as the scene where Snape goes to Godric's Hollow and cries over Lily Potter's dead body, although, it never mentioned this in the book, Snape never actually witnessed it in first hand.
14. Two Horcruxes
Harry only destroyed 2 Horcruxes, Tom Riddle's Diary and Rowena Ravenclaw's Diadem.
