A new teaser poster was revealed through the Jurassic World official twitter account along with the announcement of a new website to come. A title for the sequel of the highly successful 2015 film has yet to be released but it seems like the studio has left some of that work up to the fans to decipher.
What we can expect from the sequel so far is the return of Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard along with the direction of J.A. Bayona who is taking over for Collin Trevorrow. Due to Treverrow's involvement with Star Wars Episode IX, he was unable to continue his run as director on the new Jurassic sequel but will be contributing to the film's story. While it is uncertain where and when the story of the new film takes place, Trevorrow promises that it will be much more than "just a bunch of dinosaurs chasing people on an island."
Last Year's Jurassic World was a hit at the box office and with fans hauling in a total gross of $1.67 billion dollars. Collin Trevorrow's directorial success rejuvenated the fan base for the Jurassic franchise and ultimately earned him the new gig with Lucasfilm. The Jurassic World sequel is set for release on June 22, 2018.
In the meantime, can you make out the title?
