Marvel is absolutely dominating the superhero genre in theaters right now. Whether you like their movies or not, that doesn't matter to them because there are going to be 10 other people that love them. But what about TV shows? Who's winning that battle, Marvel or DC? Well, that answer depends on who you ask. Personally, I thought DC was winning until I watched Daredevil and realized just how weak Arrow was by comparison. I don't watch Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., though that should probably change, nor have I finished Agent Carter's second season, so my opinions are based purely on Daredevil's first and second seasons along with Jessica Jones.

What else would I like to see on Netflix though? I'd like for a few things to happen:

Get the Fantastic Four back.

I feel like the Fantastic Four would be better suited as a TV series on Netflix rather than a big-time movie. Even though the FF are a classic staple in Marvel's history, their popularity has slowly been declining in recent years. Fox's second attempt and travesty of a "superhero" movie featuring them went horribly, horribly wrong. They have interesting characters, Marvel mainstays in the villain department, and the constant theme of a family dynamic. A 10 to 13 episode season would work more in their favor than another mess of a movie would. Plus, the FF have met and crossed-over with a lot of major Marvel characters in the comics. If done correctly, there would be little to no hassle in working in a cross-over.

Work on a Spider-Man show.

We have plenty of Spider-Man shows on Disney XD, but what about a live-action show? There are plenty of possibilities for Marvel and Sony to develop into something special. Marvel Knights Spider-Man? Maybe introduce Harry and Norman Osborn? Or Venom and Carnage or the Sinister 6? There's so many ways they can go, but since we're getting a younger Peter Parker, things would have to be changed around a bit. Personally, I'd love to see Venom and Carnage, and with this more serious atmosphere Marvel shows have, these characters would fit right in.

Moon Knight, the Punisher, and...the Hulk.

I like darkness, grittiness, and violence more than I should, so I'd love to see these guys have their own shot at a show. Moon Knight--Marvel's "Batman"--is a mentally unstable vigilante that would fit seamlessly into what Netflix and Marvel are doing. He's been a part of the Defenders and had an arc during Civil War. That arc, Midnight Sun, would definitely be awesome to see.

We've already seen Jon Bernthal absolutely kill it and cause utter chaos in Daredevil as Frank Castle, so why not give him his own show? We've had a few movies take on the Punisher and now would be the best time because of his appearance in DD. But if not, keep him there in Hell's Kitchen as Daredevil's special guest.

Personally, I'd love to see a show about the Hulk. Everybody seems to want a Planet Hulk or a World War Hulk movie, and while I, too, want that, I'd like it even more as a TV show. Some characters in Planet Hulk/World War Hulk would need to changed if certain rights hadn't been obtained by then. But even if it's just one season, to be able to go more in-depth in those stories would be worth it to me. Also, two movies thus far just isn't giving enough credit to Ruffalo (who honestly is my favorite casting in the Avengers movies. Sorry, RDJ.)

What Marvel properties would you like to see on the small-screen? Let me know in the comments!
