To avoid fainting, keep repeating 'It's only a movie...It's only a movie...'

Wherever you stand on horror remakes, there's no doubt that the upcoming reboot of Stephen King's IT is a horror event for fans to watch out for. There are so many great scenes that I can't help be curious about: How can a wonderful moment like this one be recreated or reimagined?

All of these questions will have to wait until the official release date, of course. Mama director Andy Muschietti will helm the IT reboot, which hits theaters September 18, 2017. IT will start shooting in Toronto during summer and, although nothing has been confirmed, Maze Runner star Will Poulter is the front-runner to don the pom-poms in the all-important role of Pennywise.

Muschietti told Bloody Disgusting:

“Will Poulter would be a great option. For me he is at the top of my list. King described '50s terror iconography, and I feel there’s a whole world now to rediscover, to update. There won’t be mummies, werewolves. Terrors are going to be a lot more surprising.”

Do you approve of the upcoming IT reboot and what would you like to see happen?
