The shoot for Arrow Season 4 has been wrapped up. And it looks like Emily Bett Rickards will be busy during the hiatus of the show. Emily, who has been winning our hearts on Arrow for the last four seasons as the fan-favourite geeky computer genius of Team Arrow, Felicity Smoak, seems to have won over the people at Diablo Entertainment who are involved with the project (Slumber).
'Slumber', a psychological sci-fi thriller is the story of a woman who must piece together her past and find her missing daughter after waking up from a coma is directed by Darrell Wheat (Recovery). It’s being billed as a hybrid of 'Jacob’s Ladder' and 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest'.
Rickards, Darby Stanchfield and Meaghan Rath have all been cast in the film. Stanchfield is best know for playing White House spin master Abby Whelan on ABC’s 'Scandal' and for her recurring role as the Drapers’ neighbor Helen Bishop on 'Made Men'. Rath has starred in Syfy’s 'Being Human' and is currently in Fox’s “Cooper Barrett’s Guide to Surviving Life'.
Chris Mulkey (Whiplash), Richard Harmon (The 100), Isaiah Mustafa (Shadowhunters) and Lulu Wilson (Ouija 2) have also been cast. Diablo Entertainmet’s Eric B. Fleischman and Sean Tabibian are producing and financing the feature which is set to begin production this summer in Los Angeles.
