Okay, this one might be a long shot, but hear me out when I say that Death is indeed in [X-Men: Apocalypse](tag:1194267). The film just got it's latest trailer and with it, many were surprised to see Wolverine make a cameo at the end of it. I was one of those people that was also surprised. I had to go to IMBD to make sure it really was him in the movie. If you must know, I did see Hugh Jackman as Wolverine but I also found another character that surprised me. If you take a look below you can see who exactly I'm talking about here.

Yes, that is right! What you see right there is that Stan Lee is going to make a cameo in the movie! In all seriousness however, you can see that Death is also cast in the X-Men: Apocalypse film. If you're not familiar with the character, she is basically the embodiment of the end of life in the Marvel universe. When you have a movie titled Apocalypse and have the most powerful being in existence threatening the Earth, then you're bound to have Death in there. The reason for having death could also be because as we know from the trailer Apocalypse does have The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse: War, Famine, Plague, and Death. I know what you're thinking right now and that is "wait, doesn't Death have something to do with Thanos too?" Yes, she does actually and so does Deadpool for that.

In the comics, Death has been in a sort of love triangle with both Thanos and Deadpool over the years. This reason is why Thanos gives Deadpool immortality so he can never achieve his dreams of being with Death. In the end Wilson does whatever it takes to be with her, even if it is for a short moments. Of course we know Death will also be in the MCU due to the whole Infinity War storyline but having her in X-Men opens other possibilities as well. In that sense, could Death being introduced with Apocalypse mean that we might see her alongside Deadpool in the upcoming sequel?

It's too early to tell exactly what Fox has planned for the future of the X-Men movies or any crossover with Deadpool. All we know for sure is that Deadpool will be getting a sequel and Wolverine will get one more film as well. The only new character we know for sure will debut in Deadpool 2 is Cable but other than that we are in the dark. If Fox is in fact introducing Death in Apocalypse, I wouldn't be surprise if she's in Deadpool 2 as well. We can only wait and see what the aftermath of Apocalypse will mean for the future of the X-Men.
