Actress Britne Oldford's amazing performances as Allison Regan are turning out to be one of my favorite things about the new series “Hunters,” and in Episode 103 we learned a lot about her character.

I can't help but wonder now if Regan is everything she seems to be. Is it possible that she's the mole that Slavich warned Flynn about?

In my last post about Hunters, I talked about the song that McCarthy and the Hunters used to communicate. Specifically, I focused on the song's title, "Joan of Arc," and how like the French historic heroine, the Hunters disguise themselves as men to wage wars against their enemies.

Episode's 3 title is "Maid of Orleans," which happens to be a nickname of Joan of Arc. With the episode telling Regan's backstory, the title must refer to her being the Maid of Orleans.

This could mean either that Regan is acting like a human in a heroic way to save mankind from the alien terrorists or that she's secretly a warrior for her kind and is the one leaking information.

There are a couple of other things that could indicate Allison is the mole. For one thing, McCarthy left her alive when they faced off in the pilot, saying:

Was it a hint that she was shown playing Risk with Jackson and said, "World domination coming."

And then there was this subtle moment in Episode 103 when Regan was looking for the injured Hunter.

She paused and ran her hand over a snake in a tree. That instantly brought to mind the snake from the Garden of Eden, the tempter who caused the fall of man. Snakes are often an embodiment of evil, and Regan seemed for a moment captivated by the creature. Is she conspiring to bring about the fall of human kind?

Later, when she found the alien, Regan touched it with the same sort of tenderness.

Is this because she's been siding with the Hunters all along? Did she kill Jessie Slavich because she didn't want her to tell something she might know about her?

Or is a part of Regan just drawn to the alien because she is one herself? Is she just curious about who or what she really is?

We'll have to keep watching to find out. In the meantime, follow me on Twitter for more Hunters.
