Yes! Yes! Yes! A thousand times, YES! The full trailer for the movie adaptation of the cult classic BBC series, Absolutely Fabulous, has finally arrived and it is the funniest thing you will see this week (added for effect, no promises on potential singular moments of hilarity in own life that may or may not occur).

Edina and Patsy are back at it in the classic style they have become known for over the past two decades to their beloved fans all over the world. The series, which debuted on the BBC 24 years ago, originally ran for a wildly successful six seasons but made a major comeback in 2012 when Jennifer Saunders revived the iconic series for a threesome of twentieth anniversary specials. And now the comedy classic is finally making its way to the silver screen!

Edina (played to perfection by Jennifer Saunders) and Patsy (brilliant brilliant brillaint portrayal by Joanna Lumley) have found themselves in hot water this time, after seemingly accidentally murdering model Kate Moss. The duo, in typical AbFab fashion, go all out in their attempts to flee from the trouble and find themselves in the French Riveira. The trailer also included some of the major cameos teased early on in the film like that of Jon Hamm and AbFab superfan Rebel Wilson.

In the film, we also see the return of series regulars Julia Sawalha who plays Edina's distraught and often neglected daughter, Saffy, Jane Horrocks as Edina's ditsy assistant Bubble, and June Whitfield as Edina's often misplaced mother. The film, directed by Mandie Fletcher (who worked on the original series), was written by Saunders after longtime comedy partner Dawn French bet Saunders a large sum of money she wouldn't be able to do it.

The official synopsis for the film is this,

Appropriate for their big screen debut, Edina and Patsy (Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley) are still oozing glitz and glamour, living the high life they are accustomed to; shopping, drinking, and clubbing their way around London’s trendiest hotspots. Blamed for a major incident at an uber-fashionable launch party, they become entangled in a media storm and are relentlessly pursued by the paparazzi. Fleeing penniless to the glamorous playground of the super-rich, the French Riviera, they hatch a plan to make their escape permanent and live the high life forever more!

Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie opens on July 1st in the UK and on July 22nd in the US.
