Stan Lee, the Godfather of Marvel, has been noticeably vague when it comes to pledging allegiance to either #TeamCap or #TeamIronMan. It's perhaps not surprising, considering the comic book writer has an affinity for Steven Rogers and Tony Stark.
However, that hasn't stopped actors Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. attempting to sway his loyalty in a recent promotional video. The pair, who clearly share a great chemistry away from the big screen, are seen debating which character is better.
'I Really Don't Care'
RDJ argues Iron Man should be the best because he launched the MCU, while Evans counters with the fact Captain America was the first to ever be on screen for Marvel.
In the video, Downey Jr. then claims he'll ask "the next schmuck who walks by," who happens to be the legendary Stan Lee himself. When Lee is asked who is better, his response is classic. He says:
"I really don't care. As long as I get a good cameo... Call my agent!"
Hmm... It looks like we won't be getting anything in the way of commitment from Lee, which is understandable. If we had to guess though, the 93-year-old did create Iron Man (and Spider-Man who's on Iron Man's side) so surely he'd sway that way?
