On April 29, Marvel confirmed that a series based on the Punisher will be coming to Netflix. The move isn't entirely surprising; the success of both Daredevil and Jessica Jones has proven the concept, and Punisher's appearance in Daredevil Season 2 was lauded by fans as the best live-action adaptation of the murderous vigilante yet. Marvel already has quite a few shows scheduled, including Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Defenders. But could there possibly be room for one more?

Fans of Marc Spector (otherwise known as Moon Knight) have been pushing for his introduction to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for a long time, and Netflix would truly be the perfect environment for him. He's insane and violent, and his gritty stories fit perfectly into the dirty and violent world that Daredevil, Punisher, and Jessica Jones already occupy.

But where Daredevil stands at odds with Punisher's ultra violent methods, Moon Knight has come to respect them. Though he doesn't kill as consistently as Castle, Moon Knight isn't afraid to maim and torture to get his point across. He even branded criminals with his logo for some time.

Moon Knight and Punisher have teamed up in the comics several times in the past, and it seems that if Marvel were looking to bring the Lunar Legionnaire into the live-action realm, this would be a good place to start. But they've got much to consider if they make that decision. What role would Spector take? Would he be introduced in the first season? Does Moon Knight deserve his own show, too, and if so, when would it be released? All we can do for now is wait and see.
