No, I'm not talking about Lyanna Stark or Rheagar Targaryen in the phenomenal Game of Thrones. Actually, Lyanna might in The Tower of Joy scene and we finally find out who she birthed that night. The popular actor, Ian McShane, says that GoT is all about 'Tits and Dragons' and I vehemently disagree with him, but they definitely make any show better.
Well, kinda -- GoT also has Ice Zombies, Weird Gods, and it's basically just the bee's knees! George RR Martin is the closest thing to a literary genius, right? I'll stop being so fanboy-ishly annoying and get down to why you're here!
Almost everything in the books had made its way on the show. I loved to read all the fan theories and everything about GoT. I spend hours chatting with people about possible threads the show could go into and what does this mean, or what does that mean? One of my favorite fan theories: Lord Varys and Doran Martell are using The Faceless Men to wipe out their enemies and return the proper King/Queen to the Iron Throne. We know that Doran hates the Lannisters for killing Aegon and Rhaeny (I know, but it's still interesting).
Also, we all know that Lord Varys helped out Dany on her trip to become 'Mother of Dragons'. Some people think the show'll end with everyone dead and Martin's trying to warn humanity, well, it's definitely Game of Throne-ish . The White Walkers (Force of Nature) will take back the planet. That'd be horrible way to end one of the greatest shows ever and Martin made comments about how he doesn't want a 'Lost' ending.
Someone must sit on the Iron Throne or hopefully will replace it. Because it stands what came before and all that matters now -- is the future. Who'll sit on the Iron Throne when it's finally finished?
POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR THE SHOW
Will Aegon Targaryen (Rheagar and Elia's son) show up to rescue Dany from the Dothraki. I'd thought that last season the chance flew by and that's it. The only reason why I say this is because there needs to be three heads to the dragon! And don't forget about the Mummer's dragon. Was that Jorah Mormont when he'd spied on Dany for Lord Varys? I've read all the books and spelling these characters' names are way harder than you'd might think!
My count, as of now, their are two Targaryen's alive! Jon Snow (he's still a bastard) and Dany Targaryen are the ones and please, everyone knows that R+L=J! So, we stilled need another dragonspawn! For some odd reason, this mystery intrigues me the most on the show -- and there are so many possibilities, like, did Aerys sleep with Joanna Lannister on her wedding night? Will Bran control a dragon? Who really poisoned Joffrey? How will Arianne play a part in the upcoming season? And etc...
I already feel that Jorah had his moment in the Fighting Pits in Meereen and all he needs to do is to see her safe and die peacefully. When Aegon rescues Dany, I want them to have him play it like he's Griff, just like they did it in the books and then save the reveal to episode-9, when he invades Westeros with a one of Dany's dragons.
He'll come through Dorne because of the recent death of Doran. And there are a rich history between Dorne and the Targaryens! Aegon the Conqueror never conquered Dorne and so, a marriage was setup to unite the kingdoms. Aegon will joined forces with Ellaria and the battle begins -- all while, The White Walkers, approached the wall!
Should The White Walkers bring down The Wall this season (There are two seasons left.)? Lastly, there have been a lot of complaints about the Dornish story-line and would this make things better or is it too far gone? Or will Dany just come instead of Aegon? And this will further the feminist message (is there one, I can never tell?) that GoT seems to be going with after accusations of 'You know:tits and dragons'?
Damn. So, my two questions are: Who's going to save Dany and do you think Aegon will make an appearance on the show? I'd like to see another dragon and I could always use more Dario in my life. Valar Morghulis.
