The Apocalypse is on its way. Fox has dropped another video, tailored to explaining the events in X-Men: Apocalypse. This time, we've the chance to know how Apocalypse manages to stay around. Now, in the comics, he has the Celestial technology and his very own mutant abilities to keep him afloat.
In this interpretation, we have Apocalypse having to inhabit another mutant in order to rejuvenate himself. As it is in the comics. The clip simply states that he rejuvenates, which equates to him healing, or disposing the weaken body he'd taken prior. All of it is comic accurate, so there's a huge plus.
APOCALYPSE/EN SABAH NUR
He his abilities range from:
- Technopathy (manipulate any technology)
- Reality Warping
- Mass manipulation
- Energy Manipulation
- Superhuman strength
- Healing factor
At mark 00:15 in the clip, gave us a new face. I believe it to be Mister Sinister/ Nathaniel Essex, based on his skin tone and look. He is also the known being to have helped En Sabah Nur in his centuries of conquering. Practically his mentor.
The character once was the horseman: war, for the Omega level-Mutant. So, if this turns out to be him, he could be taking on that role of war here before Apocalypse reaches the year 1983. The mutant has many abilities at his disposal. The list includes:
- Superhuman strength and durability.
- Genius-level intellect.
- Regenerative healing factor.
- Molecular manipulation.
- Virtual immunity to injury.
- Energy projection via telekinesis.
- Teleportation via tesseract headquarters.
He's the creator of Nate Grey. Obtaining the genetic material of Cyclops and Phoenix in The Age of Apocalypse comic, led to his creation. Nate is an alternate version of the regular hero Cable, who's said to appear in Deadpool 2. Sinister had made Nate in hoped to use him in his own bid for power against Apocalypse. So if things pan out, it will be interesting to see how this mutant will be involved be in the movie.
Check out the amazing new images from the up-and-coming movie.
