Every year since 2014, author of the Harry Potter series, J.K. Rowling, has done a tribute to someone who has died in the Battle of Hogwarts on May 2. In 2014, she said she was "having a moment's silence over my keyboard" for the characters who died in her stories.

Kinda sad that it had to be like that. But it was a great Battle of Hogwarts tribute.

Seriously though. Saddest death since Fred.
