There's no doubt that in the world of comic books the male characters often out number the female characters. But there's no denying that within the ranks of female characters they are truly forces to be reckoned with. So here it is, my list of the top 5 females characters we need to see in the MCU!

1. She-Hulk

First Appearance: Savage She-Hulk #1 (1980)

Bio: While needing an emergency blood transfusion, the talented lawyer, Jennifer Walters, was in the midst of dying. In order to save her life, her cousin, and the only person at that critical moment able to give blood, since they both share the same blood type, Bruce Banner (Hulk) was faced with the task of saving his cousin's life. Because of Bruce's blood now flowing inside of her, Jennifer was transformed into the powerhouse, The Savage She-Hulk! While having all of the same powers as her cousin like super-human strength, durability, and a healing factor, she has qualities that the hulk does not. Jennifer, while in her She-Hulk form she can still control her personality, and even her intelligence. Sometimes not being able to control when she goes into or out of her transformation, she can still on occasions control it. She is one female you wouldn't want to arm wrestle!

2. Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew)

First Appearance: Marvel Spotlight #32 (1977)

Bio: As a child Jessica grew deathly ill from being over-exposed to uranium poisoning. To cure her, Jessica’s father Jonathan Drew injected her with an untested spider serum. Jessica's father then put her in a genetic accelerator chamber. After coming out of the chamber over decades later, she came out only to look about 18 years of age. She has almost stopped aging all together. From that point on she was given super-human powers and abilities. Later in life she became an agent for Hydra, only to become a double agent for S.H.I.E.L.D. and work against for Hydra whom she had previously worked for. Spider-Woman has super-human strength (lifting over 7 tons), stick to almost any surface like a spider, can project powerful "venom blasts", and can even produce a pheromone that can make any male attracted to her, while it repels females. Beautiful, powerful, and skilled, Spider-Woman is a triple threat you would always want fighting by your side!

3. Black Cat

Wanting to be the only woman in his life, she turned to Kingpin to bestow upon her powers of bad luck. With this new obtained power she was able to affect her enemies in her line of sight with unlucky events to come upon them. her suit also enabled her with the ability to life over 800 lbs. Later, she has been apart of a team called Heroes for Hire working with other heroes such as Shang Li, Misty Knight, and Colleen Wing.
