DC's Legends of Tomorrow, a series about a group of heroes and villains that travel through time to prevent the end of the world, is the newest addition in the DCTV world and was picked up for a second season earlier this year.

Season Two is on it's way!
Season Two is on it's way!

Now we are just two weeks away from the season one finale and we already have casting news for the upcoming second season.

The show is looking for two new series regulars, so just who is joining the crew of the Waverider? Here are the descriptions from TVLine:

A male in his late-20s to mid-30s is being sought to play a guy who grew up in the shadow of his World War II hero grandfather and has used a Han Solo-like facade to conceal his insecurity — until, that is, the development of super powers enables him to love up to his family legacy.
"The female member of an elite paramilitary team living in the 1940s. An African-American, she is scrutinized in her time for both her gender and race and thus has worked twice as hard to be a perfect soldier. That said, she blames herself for — and aims to avenge — the death of a team member for whom she had repressed feelings."

What does this mean for the current crew of the Waverider? At present, there are only 9 seats available!

The Waverider.

Will we be seeing some deaths before the end of Season One? Is someone leaving the crew? Are some new seats going to pop up somewhere? Is lap-sitting an option?

Not a lot is known about season two aside from show runner, Phil Klemmer, saying the new season will be “a lot different”

“[The finale] is not just hitting the reset button, it really is modifying their mission. Season 2 isn’t going to be about saving the world and stopping a singular entity from doing evil. We wanted to change the stakes and dynamics to make it an entirely new show — not just with new characters but with a new dramatic engine.”

Just as long as Sara Lance (White Canary), Ray Palmer (The Atom), Martin Stein and Jefferson Jackson (Firestorm) stay, then I'm all happy. The rest you can get rid of!

Legends of Tomorrow airs Thursday on The CW.

What do you think? Any ideas as to who these two newcomers might be in the DC world? Do you want someone to leave?
