Suit Up! A new picture has been shown online of the look of the Power Ranger suits for the new movie. Looking at the image, the flat material of like Lycra has been ditched to an actual protective armour while still keeping to the basic aesthetic of franchise.

Production designer Andrew Menzies stated in an interview

“Ours is an alien costume that grows on them, that’s not man-made. You can’t win everyone over, but we are trying to appeal to a more mature audience and gain new fans.”

This reboot has a lot to beat. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers (1995) Opening weekend box office gained over $13 million dollars and to date has grossed over $66 million dollars worldwide. However in 1997 the sequel Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie earned over $3 million dollars on its opening weekend earned over $8 million dollars.

Will this movie manage to do better than its previous iterations? All I know is I'm damn curious about how this is all going to go once its available to see on the big screen in March 2017. Until then here is a gif of Alpha swagging it up.
