Surprising no one, Marvel Studios' latest film, Captain America: Civil War, is on track to rake in the cash at the domestic box office. Things are off to a flying start, considering ComingSoon's reports of the movie taking a whopping $25 million during Thursday night preview showings in the US.

That puts it $15 million ahead of the last Cap movie, The Winter Soldier, and just slightly behind the numbers for last year's Age of Ultron. In IMAX, Civil War brought in $3.1 million, which actually puts it slightly ahead of Age of Ultron's Thursday night IMAX draw of $3 million.

The numbers bring Civil War to a global total of $291.2 million as of its official United States release date, with it projected to bring in $200 million over the opening weekend.
