We have seen Scarlett Johansson' character (Black Widow) knock the hell out of people from way back Iron Man 2 up to her fifth performance as the scarlet-haired secret agent in Captain America: Civil War which is now showing in all cinemas. We've witnessed as her character evolves in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and a lot of fans are really hoping for the character to have a standalone film.

Well, nothing is really impossible for Marvel. In an interview with Deadline, Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, gave voice to the possibility of a Black Widow solo film.

We've announced the next nine movies, ten counting Civil War, through the end of 2019. Where we go beyond that are ongoing discussions that we'll focus on in the next few years because we have a lot to do before then. Of the characters that you've just mentioned I would say certainly the one creatively and emotionally that we are most committing to doing is Black Widow.

Nothing is confirmed yet but who knows? A Black Widow solo film might just be around the corner. As of now, we can watch Scarlett Johansson as she brings on the girl power in Captain America: Civil War.

What are your thoughts regarding the Black Widow standalone movie? Let me know and type your comments below. Thanks for reading!
