We Potterheads love any excuse to talk about our favorite franchise. Whether it’s the books, the movies, the endless merchandise, or even The Wizarding World of Harry Potter over at Universal Studios, fans love anything Potter related. Like superheroes or supervillains at Comic-Con, many Potter fans enjoy dressing up in their favorite costume symbolizing their favorite House such as Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, or even Slytherin.

One of the major highlights of this franchise comes in the form of a sport known as Quidditch. Quidditch is a sport played on broomsticks by wizards and witches alike. The object of the game is to score more points than the opponent by shooting the Quaffle into one of three rounded hoops. The Quaffle is only worth 10 points- however, if a player manages to catch the Golden Snitch, the team is rewarded with 150 points.

These fans of Harry Potter just took the sport of Quidditch to a whole new level. Check out the video below to get a taste of how absolutely ridiculous these attempts really are.

Boy are these fans fearless! To say that the fantasy sport of Quidditch has actually been done is an understatement. These skydivers just pulled off something that has never been done before. Not only were they able to hold onto their broomsticks to defy the laws of gravity, but one of the players also manages to throw a Quaffle straight through the hoop with incredible accuracy. While there are no Golden Snitches or beater clubs found in this match, this must have been quite an experience of a lifetime.

You also have to give a strong nod to the camera crew and other folks not taking part in the match itself. To be able to catch the whole thing on film while falling down to the ground must not have been easy. They also had to have someone there should anything have gone wrong. Thankfully, everything turned out alright for these die-hard fans.

Overall, these fans sure took the World of Harry Potter to a whole new level of fandom. You will never find me doing something this crazy, but I have to give them credit where credit is due. Though the sport of Quidditch seemed impossible to showcase, it has now in theory become a reality.

So those are my thoughts on these Potter fanatics. How did you feel after watching them play Quidditch in the sky before your very eyes? Would you want to attempt something this crazy? I’d like to hear your thoughts in the comment section below!
