Happy Friday everyone, and welcome to this week's Top 10! To top off what has been a truly wonderful week (because, summer) we've got another new batch of stellar Creators to celebrate. There's something for everyone in this week's top list, and we hope you enjoy them as much as well all did. So sit back, relax, and enjoy this week's offering and show some love to this new creative bunch.
We know who Zoom is, but WHO is the man behind the iron mask? That's the one question we dedicated Flash fans ask themselves every single week. I've got a couple of ideas as to who it might be and so does new Creator Alicia Gilstorf. If you're looking for an in-depth fan theory then you've come to the right place. Is it Eddie Thawne, is it Jay Garrick, or maybe even Jessie? Who knows, but it sure is fun to speculate until the big reveal.
I can't get enough of fantastic fan art and I've always been a little jealous of how talented our artistic Creators are. Vanessa O is one of those Creators. The awesome anime-inspired artwork she has created over the past two years just blows me away. Check out her The Legend of Zelda piece for some jaw-dropping material. The colors and the detail, in combination with Vanessa's unique style, make her work something you simply HAVE to see.
When I first came across these incredible pieces by new Creator Daybreak Lai I couldn't keep my eyes off them. Who would've thought that the Avengers and the Beijing Opera would be such a match made in heaven? In my opinion, Daybreak Lai proves just how great thinking outside of the box can be. Now excuse me while I go and find out how I can get my hands on that fantastic Avengers poster art.
Admittedly, I'm not a huge horror fan in general, but one film that's really piqued my interest of late is The Witch. Coincidentally, Creator JW isn't much of a horror fan either, but was equally as intrigued. He believes The Witch might just be one of the best films of 2016. From its setting to the costumes, allow him to explain why this particular horror flick is a psychological rollercoaster you will want to hop on.
After Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, youngster Tom Holland will be putting on the Spider-Man suit in Sony's next flick: Spider-Man: Homecoming. We've already caught a glimpse of one of our favorite Marvel superheroes in Civil War, but what can we expect from the highly anticipated Homecoming? Creator The Big Bad Bear explains what the comics tell us about what's in store, and whether Tom Holland has what it takes to own the role.
If you binge-watched Daredevil season 2 the second it was released on Netflix, then you and I have got a thing in common. One of my favorite characters this season was the Punisher. He's straight up badass and Jon Bernthal’s portrayal was just perfect. It therefore doesn't come as a surprise that due to popular demand, this antihero will soon be getting his own Netflix series. Let's celebrate this joyous occasion by looking back at some of the Punisher's best moments in Daredevil season 2. Ryan Muress, take it away!
If the words "Star Wars" and "fan series" aren't enough to excite you then I don't know what will. Whilst we have to wait another 6 months for the release of Rogue One *sigh*, fans can feast their eyes on this awesome fan-made Star Wars film. Star Wars: Exile was created by independent filmmakers Noel Braham and Pokey Spears and as a fellow Star Wars fan I'd like to thank them for this fantastic tribute.
I think it's safe to say that DC on TV is absolutely smashing it at the moment. Supergirl is without a doubt a fantastic show, and it's great to see more female protagonists on television, especially when it comes to superhero shows (hello, Jessica Jones). The show has come a long way since its premiere, which reminds us to never judge a show by its pilot. Courtney Collins believes in Supergirl and she wants you to do the same. Here's why Supergirl deserves that second season.
Every gamer of this generation is familiar with No Man's Sky. It's ambitious, it's innovative and it's daring to go where many other games have never been before. But despite all of the developer's promises, I've always been on the fence about the title. That is until I read Anton's article. His likening of the title to Christopher Nolan's Interstellar was an effective method of appealing to the sense of discovery and wonder I felt while watching that movie. If No Man's Sky can take those feelings and amplify them, I fear the outside world may not see me for some time.
As a dedicated Arrow fan I can basically appreciate all of the characters. Nonetheless, Roy Harper will forever have a special place in my heart. I agree with Rachel Carrington when she says that Roy is just so easy to like. He's badass, he's funny and he'll do anything to protect his friends. Seriously, what's not to love? The man has shown us some true heart over the past couple of seasons, which is why Rachel would like to share some unforgettable Roy moments with us. Prepare to fall in love all over again.
Can't get enough of Creators? We've got you covered!
