I have a comic book coming out soon. I also tweet a lot about comics @KurtArthur12.

Captain America: Civil War just hit theaters and I think it's doing rather well (it is)! In a few short months - Suicide Squad - will hit theaters for DC. A lot of us are hoping that Ayer's portrayal of a villain team-up will help redeem Batman v Superman.

Well, Leto spoke with CNBC's Squawk Box on how he came up with The Joker's signature laugh:

“I worked on the laugh walking around the streets of New York and Toronto, and I kinda would walk around the streets and see what laughs would get under people’s skin. You know when you hear someone laugh at a restaurant? It’s a little jarring. I tried them out. And I kind of got to a place where I would laugh and people are always turning around like, ‘Who is this creepy guy behind me?'”

That sounds about right for someone who'd sent used condoms, anal beads, dead animals, and bullets to his co-stars. Personally, I don't care about his off-screen shenanigans as long as he delivers an amazing Joker. He'd previously won an Academy Award for playing a drag queen and looks absolutely psychotic in the trailers so far.

I'm not quite sure what I'm expecting heading into Suicide Squad? I know that I want the movie to be full of action and zany antics from the villains locked up by Batman. At the same time, I'm not sure how much I want to see The Joker or The Dark Knight in the latest entry from the DCEU? Ayer will have to walk a fine line to give us what we want and also, not lose the movie to DC's two biggest heavy-weights. That's a lot to ask for and I hope he can achieve it!

Basically, we know that we're going to get an origin story for Harley based on the trailers. Anyone who's familiar with The New 52, knows that Joker plays a huge part in making her what she is today (I like the Animated Version better).

Other than what we saw in the trailers; we're still in the dark about Joker's role in the upcoming movie. He could be the big bad or it's just DC trying to be clever and saving Leto's Joker for the Batman stand-alone. I loved Batman: Assault on Arkham and I wonder how much influence that will have on the finished product.

It'd be cool to see The Joker locked up while Harley is on her mission and he's constantly messing with everyone. We'll find out on August 5th, when Suicide Squad hit theaters in the United States!
