In the wake of his family's death, coming back from the lamentation of his dreadful past is Magneto (Erik Lehnsherr), one of Apocalypse's four horsemen.

On account of what happened to Erik's family, a possible root of why he will join Apocalypse to take over the Earth is because the humans might probably be the reason for his family's death that caused him to be more enraged towards them, he will accompany Angel, Storm and Pyslocke in cleansing the Earth in favor of Apocalypse's will.

After the final trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse dropped the secret about Quicksilver and Magneto's relationship in the movie, a lot are expecting to see a father-son connection between the two characters. In spite of that, how will their relationship affect their character's fate in the film?

In an interview with Yahoo Movies, Evan Peters (Quicksilver) expanded the revelation between Magneto and his role.

It's a big motivation for Quicksilver to get out of his mom's basement. He's trying to find his father and help him out.

Evan Peters didn't say too much about Quicksilver and Magneto's relationship in the movie because he didn't want to give some things away but he did hinted us with a little bit of a drama moment between the two.

It’s tough, man, it’s a hard thing to meet with an estranged father. It’s a very difficult thing. It’s a very real thing. So it was interesting to play that side of Quicksilver.

With much being said, after knowing that Magneto is his father, he might probably be the reason for Magneto to leave Apocalypse's side and fight against him alongside the X-Men that will cause big turn of events.

Watch as the X-Men battle one of their biggest fights ever in X-Men: Apocalypse this upcoming May 18.
