If you are a fan of horror movies or just have a respect for classic movies but are too chicken to really be a fan of the horror genre (like me), you need to be following Universal Studio’s Halloween Horror Nights. Even if you can’t attend this year’s event (like me), it is so worth following the news as it breaks. More specifically, the Orlando Horror Nights Twitter account is definitely worth following.

Every year, @HorrorNightsORL slowly releases information about the haunted mazes that they will put together in the months leading up to the event. Fans of the event go crazy with their speculation and theories of what houses we might see. Whether it’s an original concept featuring a psychopath clown icon or a horror classic, fans from all over the world get amped up over what will be freaking them out this fall.

The HHN - Orlando Twitter account throws fuel on that fire with their cryptic and playful tweets before eventually announcing what horrifying creatures they will be bringing us this year. They started this year’s announcements out with a classic slasher...

Fans got excited about the return of Leatherface to Halloween Horror Nights, but remained cool on the idea of a returning character. HHN promised that this they wouldn't seem him quite the same way that they have in the past.

Still, what they really wanted was something they haven’t seen at the event before. It didn’t take long for HHN to deliver...

Widely considered to be the scariest movie of all time, The Exorcist should be a huge hit at this year’s event. The challenge of creating a house based on a movie that takes place almost entirely in one room combined with the controversial religious themes have kept this horror classic out of the theme park, but it’s finally going to happen.

If you thought this was exciting, keep in mind only two of the eight or nine houses for this year’s event have been announced. There is still a lot more exciting news to come. The months leading up to HHN 26 will be thrilling. They’ve already teased another very exciting possible house...

Halloween Horror Nights 26 will haunt Universal Orlando Resort on select nights from September 16th through October 31st

Will you be attending Halloween Horror Nights 26?
