Guys, look, it's here! The Assassin's Creed movie's first trailer has finally hit the waves, and has sent a ripple of excitement and curiosity careering through the web and up and down my spine — at least.
The feature, which has been in production since 2011, has been shrouded in secrecy best reserved for dodgy Templars. But what we do know is Fassbender will be starring as Callum Lynch, a man who discovers his 15th century Spanish ancestor Aguilar de Nerha was a highly skilled assassin, and does what any one of us would do after learning that info: He gets himself embroiled in one hell of a dangerous, and assuredly badass adventure through unlocked memories. Still wanting to know more? Here's just about everything you need to know about the movie.
Quoted as being a video game movie that has a good chance of actually being good (besides Silent Hill and Mortal Kombat, of course), the movie will have to contend with the likes of Warcraft nipping at its heels. But if the recently released trailer is anything to go by, Warcraft better have some serious magic up its sleeves.
But, enough of the talk! Here are some Assassin's Creed stills from the set. Get comfy:
