The internet's favorite boyfriend, Ryan Gosling, has just made himself even more adorable than any of those "Hey Girl" memes going around by opening up about the geysers of joy he feels when he is bathing in the presence of Eva Mendes and their two daughters.
Appearing on ABC News, the 35-year-old Canadian treasure was asked what it was like living with a 3:1 female to male ratio in his household, and he sarcastically quipped:
"It's heaven. It's like walking through a field of flowers every day. I live with angels. It's a ray of sunshine in a dark time."
Although Gosling was clearly joking around about the pressures of raising two young children under the age of three, his satirical speech was clearly an effort to protect his family's privacy as opposed to a genuine dig.
You can see Gosling deliver his heart-warming family speech at around the 1:40 mark in the video below:
Eva Mendes gave birth to her second child with Ryan Gosling on April 29, but if you didn't know about it yet, it's not entirely your fault.
The notoriously private couple want to do everything they can to allow their infant daughters to thrive without the intrusive glare of the media eye watching their every move. In the ever-savvy words of Eve Mendes on the birth of their first baby:
“Whether we like it or not, privacy is going to be very difficult for Esmeralda. I think it’s unfair but that’s our reality. So Ryan and I decided early on to give her as much privacy as we could. And my pregnancy was the first opportunity to give her that. It’s such an intimate time for the mother, too. I know that it seems all very innocuous when you’re flipping through a tabloid at the doctor’s office or see a photo of a pregnant lady online, but I find the media’s ‘bump watch’ obsession to be both intrusive and stressful. So I made a decision to eject myself from it completely. I was like, ‘Annnnd I’m out.’”
While we are all secretly gagging to see a picture of the tiny little Goslings, I can't think of a better reason to be deprived of a peek at some of the most genetically blessed babies on Earth than the message above. Such wise parents!
Do you think it's a responsible decision to keep celeb kids out of the spotlight?
