The Exploits and Adventures of a guy who loves Pixar and Marvel on a journey to becoming an Orlando-Floridian filmmaker. You think you know what I can do? Then, you ain't seen nothing yet!

Well, after the biggest letdown of 2016 and a disappointing start to Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where do we go from there?...

Well, last we saw our heroes/(*ahem*) war criminals (for some of them, probably)...

- Captain America/Steve Rogers went into hiding in Wakanda but not before breaking Sam Wilson/Falcon, Clint Barton/Hawkeye, Scott Lang/Ant-Man and Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch out of the raft with T'Challa/Black Panther providing sanctuary

- Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier decided to be frozen until they can find a cure for his HYDRA brainwashing yet we don't know whether or not that he gets a new arm or that's the last time we see him

- Tony Stark (or Stank)/Iron Man went back to the Avengers HQ (as in Facility in Upstate New York from the ending to 'Age of Ultron' and part of 'Ant-Man') as he helps Rhodey deal with his paralysis while Vision just sits there

- Peter Parker goes back to Queens while recovering from his injuries during the airport fight and projecting a computer interface from his wrist (presumably given to and worked on by Stark)

- Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow disappears somewhere we'll never know about either until "Avengers: Infinity War" or even ever after helping Cap and Bucky board a quinjet to Siberia

- And we don't know if Sam, Wanda, Clint and Scott are keeping Tony, Rhodes and Vision company or if they're hiding out with Steve as Secret Avengers

Yeah, I was left with very excruciating questions about that ending like:

If Tony is gonna be ignoring every message he gets from Secretary Ross, will he be a wanted man like Cap, Bucky, Scott, Clint and Sam all were (Natasha and Wanda would technically be wanted women)

Will we see Steve and Sharon be seeing each other again?

And everything I already said earlier and previously.

But enough about my further thoughts (if any) on this movie that's just...there.

Let's talk about what's to come after...

After that...

After that...

There we go! Let's just start off there...but before that, let's talk about which characters are likely to appear in which Marvel movie in Phase 3, however I will be leaving Thor: Ragnarok, Captain Marvel and the other 2 I mentioned out of this one.

With that said,

Captain America/Steve Rogers

Next likely appearance: Black Panther (as a cameo) and/or Avengers: Infinity War

Chances of appearing in Future Marvel Movies: Slim but maybe here and there

Iron Man/Tony Stark

Next appearance: Spider-Man Homecoming and Avengers: Infinity War

Chances of appearing in Future Marvel Movies: Hell None!

Also, I just want to get this out of the way but, a question I've had since "Avengers: Age of Ultron" was whatever happened to Avengers Tower (formerly Stark Tower)? Did Tony put it up for lease? Did they just leave it there after The Avengers went off to Sokovia to stop Ultron and save Black Widow? Chances are that it's a question in the MCU that might never be answered...

Sam Wilson/Falcon

Next likely appearance: Black Panther (cameo) and/or Avengers: Infinity War

Chances of appearing in Future Marvel Movies: Maybe

Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff

Next likely appearance: Black Panther (cameo) and/or Avengers: Infinity War

Chances of appearing in Future Marvel Movies: Hope so.

Should she get her own solo movie? I'll answer that later.

Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier

Next Likely Appearance: Black Panther (as a crucial part of the story), Avengers: Infinity War or Never

Chances of appearing in Future Marvel Movies: Depends...

Clint Barton/Hawkeye

Next likely appearance: Black Panther (as a cameo) and/or Avengers: Infinity War

As far as a solo movie or Netflix series go (since "Agents of SHIELD" is the only surviving Marvel show on ABC), I feel like we've already developed Hawkeye's character in 'Age of Ultron' so there's just no need for Hawkeye to get his own spin-off in any way.

Chances of appearing in Future Marvel Movies: None

Scott Lang/Ant-Man

Next likely appearance: Black Panther (cameo), Ant-Man and the Wasp and Avengers: Infinity War

Chances of appearing in Future Marvel Movies: Slim (though they are saying that there could be an "Ant-Man 3")

Peter Parker/Spider-Man

Next appearance: Spider-Man: Homecoming (duh!) and Avengers: Infinity War

Chances of appearing in Future Marvel Movies: Most definitely Likely

Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow

Next Likely Appearance: Spider-Man: Homecoming (hopefully; at least as a cameo) and Avengers: Infinity War (unless she disappears forever but isn't dead)

Chances of appearing in Future Marvel Movies: God, I really, really hope so!

Solo movie? Hell, Yes!!!!

Col.James Rhodes/War Machine

Next likely appearance: Spider-Man: Homecoming and Avengers: Infinity War

Chances of appearing in future Marvel Movies: Likely

Should he get his own solo movie? I don't see why not.

Next likely appearance: Spider-Man: Homecoming (as a cameo) and Avengers: Infinity War

Chances of appearing in future Marvel movies: Hope so.

Solo movie? I'll answer that later.

Nick Fury

Next Likely Appearance: Avengers: Infinity War

Chances of appearing in future Marvel Movies: None

Agent 13/Sharon Carter

Next likely appearance: Unknown but hopefully "Avengers: Infinity War"

The Guardians of the Galaxy

Chances of appearing in Avengers: Infinity War: Duh!

Chances of appearing in future Marvel movies after: Most likely (Yes! There is a Guardians of the Galaxy 3 coming up in the very near future!)

Well, I don't wanna go on too long about other characters like Black Panther (who we already know is going to be in "Avengers: Infinity War"), Zemo, Everett Ross or Secretary Thunderbolt Ross but now let's discuss the selected Phase 3 films starting with...

It looks as though from what I'm hearing that this movie will be (I think) based on the 'Homecoming' storyline from the Spider-Man mythos. I've never read the Homecoming comic, so the way I picture it aside from Tony Stark mentoring Spider-Man (like what Cap has been doing with Wanda in between 'Ultron' and 'Civil War') and Spidey fighting 2 members of the Sinister 6 within 3 different films that will lead to a Sinister 6 movie (which is unfortunately not part of the MCU; I don't think) is that Peter Parker would be going through his everyday life keeping Aunt May and anyone else from finding out about his fight with Captain America and his cohorts at the airport while Tony is still helping Rhodey out with his paralysis.

And I also see Vision appearing in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" since we saw him just sit there at the end to "Captain America: Civil War".

I can also see there being a post-credits scene that sets up for the next Spider-Man movie (in which hopefully it will lead to a better comic book trilogy). The bonus 'Infinity War' lead-ins probably won't kick in until "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" and "Thor: Ragnarok".

Unless Tony and Rhodes find Natasha and try to help her evade U.N. capture thinking about getting Spider-Man to help, hesitant to call Cap because of what happened at the end to 'Civil War' (like how Steve and Sam discussed recruiting Ant-Man in that Post-Credits scene I mentioned earlier).

Moving on...

The way I see this movie is that T'Challa would be in Wakanda defending his nation from Ulysses Klaw whose looking to seek vibranium after what happened to him in 'Age of Ultron' all the while training to become the new Black Panther

after King T'Chaka was killed in the Vienna bombing by Zemo disguised as Bucky,

and getting over the events of 'Civil War'.

Not to mention that maybe Bucky will get a new arm and a cure for his HYDRA instincts, maybe we won't.

Though speaking of which, maybe we could see Captain America, Ant-Man, Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye and Falcon operate within Wakanda as Secret Avengers (that is if his teammates weren't already sent off with Tony at the end of 'Civil War' (though we could see Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye or Falcon in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" but I digress))

Maybe there could be a bonus "Avengers: Infinity War" lead-in scene after the credits where Steve gets a call from Tony that he is in need of Captain America's help (possibly in finding Natasha or going up against Thanos).

I'm just gonna save the biggest for last and go right to...

Ant-Man and the Wasp

Since this is in-between the 2 Avengers films in terms of release date, I'm just going to assume that this takes place in between 'Civil War' and 'Infinity War' (Yeah, there's actually a proper chronological watch order on the MCU. Look it up!) where after the former completely botched everything that "Ant-Man" was about, the cop and Maggie (Scott's ex-wife - I think) begin to think that Scott is a criminal again after fighting against Iron Man in Leipzig or that they don't give a @*!&! about it and that Scott dons his Ant-Man suit along with Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lily) putting on her Wasp suit from the mid-credits scene to the last film to go into the quantum realm and save Hank Pym from going in there to find his wife.

Also...maybe Tony Stark and Hank Pym learn to forgive and forget?...

But, let's not delay the inevitable. Here we go...

What's worse than an unfaithful adaptation to the first comic that made you ever hear of a particular Marvel superhero? How about a comic book adaptation that says "N'eh, this is only going to be the end for some of these guys while some of the others are gonna be either retired or re-cast. And the Marvel Cinematic Universe will go on for years to come...". And that's exactly what to expect because according to Joe and Anthony Russo at one point, they said that there probably won't be an epic fight with The Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy vs. Thanos. But anyways, if I can mentally picture what could happen in both parts: Part 1 - Thanos assembling the Infinity Gauntlet and getting his hands on all but 1 or 2 infinity stones,

Tony, Rhodes, Vision, Peter Parker, Sam, Wanda, Scott and Clint all together (assuming that the other 4 aren't in Wakanda with Cap, Bucky and T'Challa) but uneasy as a team after the events of "Captain America: Civil War",

Laura Barton divorces Clint after he breaks his promise made during the events of 'Age of Ultron' to reitre and spend more time with the family (or at least it would be mentioned), Thor, Doctor Strange and the Hulk warning the Avengers about Thanos' arrival and the Infinity Gauntlet (with all of them arguing about whether to obey Secretary Ross or go and fight the big purple guy), Nick Fury and Maria Hill intervening, Cap, T'Challa, Bucky and Natasha (unless she shows up for Part 2) showing up somewhere, some loose ends from "Captain America: Civil War" tied together, Zemo joining forces with Thanos, Dr.Erik Selvig, Jane Foster and Darcy appear, Loki appears, as do some Asgardians and a bonus Part 2 lead-in scene featuring the Guardians of the Galaxy.

This would be the Zemo costume in Part 1...

Part 2 - Captain Marvel appears before The Avengers like Vision did in 'Ultron', The Avengers get unexpected (at least to them) help from the Guardians of the Galaxy, Red Skull, the bad guy from "Thor: The Dark World" (I'm sorry, I forget his name), Ronan the Accuser and Ultron are brought back from the dead, Vision dies after Thanos removes the Mind Stone from his forehead (only to be brought back to life with the mind and soul stones), Wanda uses her fully evolved powers (as her character is developed that much) in the climax, Nebula appears, Tony Stark/Iron Man sacrifices himself for everyone to stop Thanos and some stuff that lays the groundwork for the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

My hopes for both parts:

- the answer to where Black Widow went after 'Civil War'

- Steve Rogers and Sharon Carter back together (like in the comics)

- Scarlet Witch and Vision to be more romantically involved than the last film (like in the comics)

- Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier having a new arm and a cure for his HYDRA brainwashing

Now, you may think "Oh, what about this moment from the comic?", "What about that moment from the comic?". Well here's the thing, I've never read the "Infinity Gauntlet" or "Infinity War" comics, I've heard about them though. But, we'll just have to wait and see in 2 more years then a-whole-nother year.

Hoo! With all that said, what about afterwards.

Well, there's a whole Marvel Comic Book library of possibilities.

Just not an "Iron Man 4" because Tony Stark can carry out his character arc even with just 3 "Iron Man" movies (I mean have you SEEN "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and "Captain America: Civil War"?).

Let's see, there's talks of another Hulk movie, Guardians of the Galaxy 3, Ant-Man 2, Doctor Strange 2, 2 more Spider-Man movies, a Sinister 6 movie and with the whole Avengers arc done...I don't know. Maybe they could go into a whole new light with "Inhumans" (who knows?) What I do mentally picture happening (or at least hope for in some cases) is a War Machine solo movie, a Black Widow movie (hopefully more than anything!),an adaptation of "The Runaways" and hopefully a Scarlet Witch and Vision movie where they're the romantic couple you see in the comics. But what I'm most hoping for is presented within this video...

Could there be more with Chris Evans as Cap and RDJ as Iron Man and so on after "Infinity War"? Can FOX PLEASE JUST NOT DO A SEQUEL TO FANT4STIC AND SELL THE FANTASTIC FOUR RIGHTS BACK TO DISNEY?!? Can the X-Men join the MCU? Will there actually be a Tom Holland Spider-Man trilogy that can stand out from the Marc Webb and Sam Rami versions and even the some of the planned trilogies at Marvel Studios?

Only time will tell until the 2017 and 2019 D23 Expo...

In conclusion, with what I said in 'Super-fans of the Infinite Earths" about not being a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe after "Thor: Ragnarok" (and my disappointments with "Captain America: Civil War") (unless they make a Black Widow movie), my concern isn't necessarily if they can make these movies good. My concern is actually how many they are making because of stuff I'll go on about in a future article plus my concerns are if they can top the Avengers saga with Marvel Studios (and the Walt Disney Studios) not ceasing to a halt.

You think Marvel would make amazing films after 'Infinity War' but it might be impossible to change anything unless something new comes up at next year or 2019's D23 Expo or on a random day at the El Capitan Theater, case in point...

But as I've said before, only time will tell...

Dedicated to the cast and crew of "Captain America: Civil War" and the movies that have come before, I know that they can put their best foot into these movies...
