No matter how long you have been a horror fan, you have undoubtedly heard the name Kane Hodder. He is one of the genres giants and one of the nicest, most genuine people you will ever meet. Before he was cinema's most prolific serial killer, he was bullied, beaten and burned. If you read the book he released a couple of years back (Unmasked), you know the hardships Hodder faced when it came to bullies and of course, a stunt accident that he will never forget. Now, Hodder wants to reach the masses in the form of a documentary about his life and career titled To Hell and Back: The Story of Kane Hodder.

The documentary will feature several of Kane's peers from the genre including Danielle Harris, Adam Green, Bill Moseley, Sid Haig, Bruce Campbell, Robert Englund and even the Mistress of the dark herself, Elvira. His beautiful wife and sons will also be involved.

There is currently and Indiegogo campaign running to help make this once in a lifetime documentary a reality. The goal is set at $50,000; with 164 backers, the campaign is 58% funded with 9 days left (ends on Tuesday, May 24) to donate.

Like all other Indiegog campaigns, there are perks for each donation level, and they are a horror fan's dream. Perks range from a copy of the DVD or Blu-ray, wristbands, signed hockey mask, t-shirt and even drinks with Kane.
