What do you do when you love both Legos AND the X-Men? You make a Lego movie trailer of course!!! Check out this amazing trailer right now! I promise, you won't be disappointed.

YouTuber Toscano Bricks, released his newest trailer depicting the X-Men in Lego form. The entire trailer is done with stop-motion animation much like what The Lego Movie utilized to make that film. There is also a great deal of visual digital effects added in this video.

This Lego trailer is unbelievably accurate to the second official trailer that was released for X-Men: Apocalypse. Borrowing certain scenes from the trailer, it is an incredible shot-for-shot remake. It just goes to show how much work and effort was put into making this video. Even the characters are in the same clothes as their movie counterpart. The YouTuber also provides the voices to the characters taken directly from the trailer, which shows their mouths move at the correct moments.

My favorite parts of this Lego trailer has to be how he was able to pull off the front flip double-sword chopping Psylocke in Lego form. I also love the scenes where all the cars and buildings are swept up into the sky while being torn apart in the process. Those shots must have taken a VERY long time to complete.

You can tell that this video was made by a passionate fan who not only loves Legos, but also tries to stay as faithful as possible to the source material. He probably watched the trailer hundreds of times just to get everything precise. This video had to have taken months to complete and man did he do one hell of a job.

If it wasn’t for the hit film The Lego Movie, we may not be getting all these amazing trailers and video games based off of these huge franchises. I’m a little surprised that we haven’t yet received a direct Lego X-Men video game. There are plenty of films to draw inspiration from, so there should be no excuse in that regard.

I cannot wait to see more videos from this YouTuber. He did a phenomenal job and certainly has a knack for great visual effects using mostly Legos. If you’d like to compare his trailer with the official movie trailer, you can check out the second X-Men: Apocalypse trailer right here:

Apocalypse will be confronting the X-Men soon enough as X-Men: Apocalypse crashes into theaters in the U.S. on May 27th. How excited are you for this film? Plus, what did you think of this Lego trailer? I’d like to hear everyone’s thoughts in the comment section down below!
