After the hit, '[Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice](tag:711870)' hit theaters, we all have been waiting, anticipating the next installment in the DCEU franchise. That third installment will come as 'Suicide Squad'. What's strange is today, a fan stated they had attended a screening of the movie. An early screening to be exact, but the issue is that the film doesn't release for at least three months from now. Take a look below,
The post mentions Batman plays a role in the present. It's what many have speculated upon, since he was told to be in the film. If the film sets things in the present, this means that statement about Superman in the Blitz-trailer; describing him in the past-tense, is relevant to the out-come of Dawn of Justice. The Twitter user also says there are a lot of references to 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.'
Bringing things to the last tweet, where Scott Eastwood's character is asked about. Not sure if the person doesn't know many references–or Easter eggs around the unknown character, who is assumed to be Grayson, Todd or Harper, to be unable to identify him. Basing things on the history of certain films, the company chooses to not provide certain characters' names. This builds hype and leaves the surprise for the audiences. I believe he is someone important, yet, under cover but not too hidden for the audiences to be left guessing until his future appearance.
Now, this is highly possible for a screening to be shown, but WB/DC never mentioned such to be presented. Could this have possibly been a test screening? Same as what 20th Century Fox did for "[X-Men: Apocalypse](tag:1194267)" a few weeks ago?
'Suicide Squad' hits the Summer, on August 5th.
