Talk about ultimate Marvel superfan dreams come true! In the unlikely event that Fox ever gives up the cinematic rights to the iconic X-Men franchise, we're looking at one of the biggest and best superhero clashes of all time. And fortunately — due to the excellent trailer cutting by superfan Alex Luthor — we can now witness what that could actually look like.

Luthor took footage from all previous X-Men films — including the upcoming Apocalypse — the Avengers movies, the one-too-many Spider-Man entries, and the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe as a whole to create this drool-inducing masterpiece. I mean, come on, it's totally awesome. And to my surprise, it's probably one of the best fan-made trailers I've ever seen in YouTube's massive collection of misleading let-downs.

The dialogue, the action, and the best scenes from all franchises perfectly blended together to make one hell of a believable trailer. The best part though is that it could probably fool the best of us into thinking there will be a time when Fox and Disney come together for the most epic of epics. For now, I suppose — and regrettably so — we'll just have to be content with the breathtaking awesomeness that is Civil War and the hopefully bright future ahead of the X-Men franchise once some new blood is finally introduced in front of and behind the camera. Check out the trailer for the latest X-Men installment, X-Men: Apocalypse:
