WARNING: This article may contain spoilers from Season 6, Episode 5 of Game Of Thrones. Stop reading if you haven't caught up!
Game Of Thrones really ripped our hearts out this week. We saw the demise of a beloved character in Hodor, The White Walkers attacked and Jorah bid farewell to Dany. This episode marks the half way point of the season and as we move into the second half, there is no sign of things slowing down. Take a look at the promo for S06E06 "Blood of my Blood".
See what I mean? Game of Thrones is really heating up for everyone so lets take a look at the three things we're most excited about in "Blood of my Blood".
1. Will Margaery complete her walk of shame?
Margaery Tyrell has had it pretty rough this season. After being imprisoned against her will last season, she has been rotting in the dungeon with her brother Loras nearby. As we saw in Episode 4, The High Sparrow has informed Tommen that Margaery will be required to atone for her sins - completing the walk of shame that Cersei was subjected to in Season 5. Lady Olenna and Cersei both agreed that this cannot happen and together, the Lannisters and the Tyrells will attempt to rescue Margaery. What Tyrion said in Episode 4 applies here - make peace with your enemies, not with your friends. As we saw in the promo, the event will not go ahead uninterrupted, but what we want to know is will there be causalities, or will the High Sparrow get what is coming to him? And most importantly, will Margaery atone for her 'sins?
2. Daenerys the conqueror
Last we saw Dany, she bid farewell to her beloved companion Jorah and set off on a new adventure with Daario and the Dothraki soldiers. Where they are headed has yet to be revealed. We can see in the promo that they continue on their path. Daario calls Dany a conqueror and she responds saying "I take what is mine". We don't know what they are discussing, but judging by the fact that the promo ends with this scene, it must be important. Furthermore, the episode is called "Blood of my blood" suggesting that it is a key moment for the Vaes Dothrak storyline.
3. The fallout from the White Walker attack
You may have been a bit distracted watching our beloved Hodor die, so it's completely understandable if you forgot that the white walker attack is still happening. In the promo for the next episode, the walkers continue to hunt Bran and Meera as they both flee from the cave. Bran also appears to be in a vision, but is it the same vision? Bran's visions have arguably been the most important storyline this season, with each vision revealing more and more secrets about certain characters' pasts. What will future visions reveal, and about who? We've lost so much already this season, so lets say a little prayer to the Old Gods and the New that we do not lose any one else in this shockingly scary storyline.
With five episodes left, it's impossible to determine where our favourite characters will end up by Episode 10. However, from what we have seen thus far, next week's episode could prove to be the most exciting yet!
