Just keep swimming Finding Nemo fans, because a brand new trailer for sequel film Finding Dory is set to float onto screens today!
The full-length trailer for Finding Dory will debut during the Ellen show later today, but until then we have a cute teaser trailer (yes, that's a short trailer that acts as a teaser for the actual trailer, what a world we now live in) to whet our appetites.
The teaser trailer is just 15-seconds long but it's jam packed with many adorable new characters and even some old ones, take a look:
How many new characters did you spot? Let's take a closer look!
First Up, We See The New Sea Lion Characters
Rudder and Fluke will be voiced by Dominic West and Idris Elba, respectively.
There Was Also A New Couple On The Scene!
We haven't seen any footage of these two before, but judging by the voice we heard, it seems safe to say these are the two characters voiced by Bill Hader and Kate McKinnon.
Then There Was Also A Leering Loon
We can expect to see a number of loons in the film, including one named Becky — aw!
Then We See Our Girl, Dory!
And Also Catch A Sneak Peek At A Beluga Whale And Whale Shark
Kaitlin Olson (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) is set to voice Destiny, the whale shark, while Bailey the beluga whale will be voiced by Ty Burrell (Modern Family)
And Finally, We Even See Nemo!
I cannot wait to see more footage later today in the full-length trailer!
Read the synopsis for Finding Dory below:
Finding Dory welcomes back to the big screen everyone’s favorite forgetful blue tang Dory (Ellen DeGeneres), who’s living happily in the reef with Nemo (Hayden Rolence) and Marlin (Albert Brooks). When Dory suddenly remembers that she has a family out there who may be looking for her, the trio takes off on a life-changing adventure across the ocean to California’s prestigious Marine Life Institute, a rehabilitation center and aquarium. In an effort to find her mom (Diane Keaton) and dad (Eugene Levy), Dory enlists the help of three of the MLI’s most intriguing residents: Hank (Ed O’Neill), a cantankerous octopus who frequently gives employees the slip; Bailey (Ty Burrell), a beluga whale who is convinced his echolocation skills are on the fritz; and Destiny (Kaitlin Olson), a nearsighted whale shark. Deftly navigating the complex innerworkings of the MLI, Dory and her friends discover the magic within their flaws, friendships and family.
You can catch the full Finding Dory trailer live on Ellen or online here at Movie Pilot later today.
