In a series of Instagram shots and videos taken by Pepper Potts (a.k.a Gwyneth Paltrow), it would seem that Iron Man and Captain America have put their differences aside to unite for a special cause: Lending their support to a young Marvel fan battling cancer.

The fan, Ryan Wilcox, was treated to a visit from the trio when they landed in his hometown, San Diego. Paltrow documented the entire trip — utilizing the hashtag to encourage widespread support.

Evans even recorded a message for Ryan, motivating him to keep fighting, and to give thanks for his alliance to Team Cap.

Today @ryanwilcox0303 got a little surprise. Thank you to the incredible and my better work half @robertdowneyjr for being the men you both are. And thank you to the Wilcox family for your hospitality!

Could these guys be any nicer?!

Are you Team Cap or Team Iron Man?
