While we're all practicing our cowabungas and ordering a shed load of pizza in preparation for the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot, we've spent so much time focusing on the comeback of Michelangelo and co. we've forgotten some of the movie's main components: the humans.
So, it's only fair that these are the guys getting center-stage in the latest clip that shows Will Arnett's character, Vernon Fenwick, cozying up to New York legend, Knicks player Carmelo Anthony.
Check it out:
Accompanying this release is a bunch of B-Roll footage from the production, which gives a 10-minute in-depth look at how the movie's put together before receiving a SFX overhaul. And, although there's a major lack of our green vigilantes in this footage too, it's well worth a watch.
The plot is as follows:
Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael return to theaters this summer to battle bigger, badder villains, alongside April O’Neil (Megan Fox), Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett), and a newcomer: the hockey-masked vigilante Casey Jones (Stephen Amell). After supervillain Shredder escapes custody, he joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry) and two dimwitted henchmen, Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) and Rocksteady (WWE Superstar Stephen “Sheamus” Farrelly), to unleash a diabolical plan to take over the world. As the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, they find themselves facing an even greater evil with similar intentions: the notorious Krang.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows is set to swing into theaters June 3rd.
