I think we can all agree that fan artists are amazing, no? For all its problems, fandoms have a way of giving us greatness in the form of memes, hashtags and mash-ups. Now thanks to Japanese artist Bin1 Production, we have a delightful rendering of [Captain America: Civil War](tag:994409) done in a Miyazaki-style anime based on the characters of Bandai Namco.**

**Author's note: Since publishing this article, there's been a lot of outraged chatter in the comments about genderbending and race-swapping. The characters are based on the [email protected] franchise and thus, the characters are specific to that franchise. There is no underlying political agenda here. Carry on.

The artist took various scenes from Civil War and recreated them, and I have to say they look pretty damned awesome, don't you think? I've added the screenshots from the movie itself below each image (when I could find it) to give you an idea of how the anime reimagining stacks up to the original.
