WARNING: This post may contain spoilers from Season 6 of Game of Thrones.
HBO has released new images for the upcoming Game Of Thrones episode "Blood of my Blood." Photos range from Danaerys on horseback with Daario to Margarey preparing for her walk of shame to Arya, as well as her target Lady Crane. "Blood of my Blood" is already set to be an explosive episode, picking up directly from the White Walker attack that saw us lose fan-favorite character Hodor.
An old foe comes back into the picture. Gilly (Hannah Murray) meets Sam’s (John Bradley) family. Arya (Maisie Williams) faces a difficult choice. Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) faces off against the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce). Written by Bryan Cogman; directed by Jack Bender.
Check out the photos below:
As we saw in the last episode, Jorah has departed to go in search of a cure, leaving Daario and Danaerys leading the khalasar — where they are headed as yet to be revealed. Dany has proven herself by taking down the Khals in the temple of the Dosh Khaleen, and now she has an army. Will she head for Westeros, or will she continue to rule over Meereen?
In a storyline thats been building up since last season, Margaery prepares for her walk of atonement. As we saw two weeks ago, Cersei and Olenna remain adamant that this cannot happen. Will Cersei remain loyal, or will she sabotage everything?
Tommen appears before the High Sparrow. Tommen tries to see the good in everyone, which conflicts with job as King, but how will he react once he discovers the plans to rescue Margaery?
Jaime agreed with Cersei about operation: rescue Margaery, and we know his distain for the High Sparrow; however, we have no idea what will happen during Margaery's walk of atonement — I cannot see everyone getting out of the episode alive. It's going to be a face-off of epic proportions when Jaime and The High Sparrow meet at the ceremony.
Arya looks on, amused, with the troupe of actors whom she met last week. Will she follow through with H'ghar's plan and kill Lady Crane?
The target: Lady Crane. Very little is known about her so far, but we did get the impression that Arya didn't want to kill her and she even called her "nice." Will she make it out of the episode alive, though? Who knows — this is Game of Thrones, after all. It's tough being a fan of this show.
It looks like several key storylines will be explored in "Blood of My Blood," which is set to be the most explosive episode of the season yet! Make sure you don't miss it. For a sneak peek of "Blood of my Blood" click here.
