We're almost half way through 2016 and the year so far certainly hasn't held back when it comes to legendary celebrity deaths. One of the first unexpected blows to pound down on movie fans came this January with the news that legendary screen and stage actor, Alan Rickman, died of pancreatic cancer aged 69.
Perhaps a testament to Rickman's supreme acting talent, the star covered a myriad of iconic roles such as Professor Snape in the Harry Potter franchise, Han Gruber in Die Hard, the Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves — I could go on — and, while regularly portraying villains still managed to endear himself to generations.

And now, almost five months after his passing, his final performance is on the way to the big screen as the caterpillar-turned-butterfly, Absolem, in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland sequel, Alice Through The Looking Glass.
In the latest TV Spot for the movie — which will fall down the rabbit hole and into theaters May 27th — Rickman is the star. Or rather, his voice is. Watch the clip for yourself and let his magical, otherworldly tones transport you through the looking glass:
