True Grit star, Jeff Bridges, has been added to the growing cast of Kingsman: The Golden Circle!
Much like the previous new additions, Channing Tatum, Colin Firth and Elton John, the announcement was made on Jeff Bridges' Twitter by a new poster with a little tidbit about his character.
"The only Golden Circle I want vexing me is the one my glass leaves behind on the table"
No name or further details have been released about his character but the movie is said to introduce the “Statesman,” the American counterpart of the Kingsman organisation.
Joining the cast of Kingsman 2 will mark Bridges' third foray into the comic book movie world; he previously had roles in Iron Man as Obadiah Stane and Roy in R.I.P.D.
Acting for 50+ years including films such as The Last American Hero, Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, TRON, Starman, The Fabulous Baker Boys, The Fisher King, Wild Bill, The Big Lebowski, Seabiscuit, Stick It, TRON: Legacy, The Giver and many, many more.
Matthew Vaughn (Stardust, Kick-Ass and X-Men: First Class) will return to direct the sequel to the 2014 hit with returning favourites Taron Egerton, Mark Strong, Sophie Cookson, Colin Firth and Edward Holcroft. The new additions includes Bridges, Channing Tatum, Elton John, Halle Berry, Julianne Moore and Pedro Pascal.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle will be released in cinemas on June 16th, 2017.
