“I’m the Juggernaut, BITCH!”

Plenty of fans have flocked this weekend to check out MegaCon in sunny Orlando, Florida. One of those fans — named Bryan Doell — has made a name for himself, as he showed off his incredible self-made Juggernaut costume. You can check out the photo that Bryan posted on his Facebook page down below!

Talk about having great attention to detail. This costume has it all: the muscle, the boots, and most importantly his popular durable helmet. Bryan currently works as a prop and costume artist at BMP PROPS. Here's what Bryan had to say about the entire project:

“I did it. I freaking did it. Been talking about it for two years, and I did it. My life-size Juggernaut costume is done. I can’t even express what I’m feeling right now, this project pushed me to work outside of the box, way out of my comfort zone, and now it’s done. 100% scratch built, hand carved, free-handed, gigantic awesomeness.”

Not only was Bryan able to take his entire costume to MegaCon, he also got to meet the creator of the Juggernaut himself, Mr. Stan Lee:

This man has poured so much time and effort into getting this completed. It’s certainly a work of art. This version looks way better and more true to the comics than the one that was given to us in Bret Ratner’s X-Men: The Last Stand. The forgettable actor who played Cain Marko was a former soccer player named Vinnie Jones. Jones took the phrase “cheesy” to a whole new level. Just take a look at the costume he wore in that film:

It’s absolutely dreadful and his performance didn’t help much either. The costume looks like it came straight from Ridley Scott’s Gladiator. Juggernaut didn’t have much to do in the film at all besides be a servant to Magneto’s master plan. At least Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past wiped the slate clean and started afresh.

Not only did Doell’s passion show in his latest project, but he was also rewarded with MegaCon’s Orlando’s Costume Contest Award for Best Comic Book Costume. That should definitely come as no surprise. Someone was also nice enough to post a video of Bryan inside of the costume in a race against another cosplay individual wearing a Space Godzilla garment. Bryan certainly deserved the award and will be the talk of the town for days to come!

Catch a look at more insanely good cosplays here (Harley Quinn), here (Wonder Woman), and here.

What did you think of the costume? Were there any costumes you’ve seen before that top this one? I’d like to hear your thoughts in the comment section below!
