It's been almost four years since we've stopped getting updates on the latest dirt from the Upper East Side, but that doesn't mean we love the cast of Gossip Girl any less. Few prime time teen dramas have ever been able to make our hearts throb quite like this one did...
Let's continue swooning down memory lane with these side-by-side images of the Gossip Girl boys, then and now.
Dan Humphrey - Penn Badgley
Penn Badgley has officially made the leap from TV to the silver screen, with movies like Easy A and The Paper Store. He and Blake Lively might have had to go their separate ways, but at least he's got his new hipster beard to keep him warm. Still, he'll always be Lonely Boy to us.
Chuck Bass - Ed Westwick
Chuck Bass was basically everyone's favorite reformed bad boy. The only thing that would have made him sexier is if Ed Westwick had been allowed to use his real accent on the show. (Did you know that Westwick had to fake an American accent to play Chuck Bass?)
Nate Archibald - Chace Crawford
How could you not be a little bit in love with Nate Archibald? He was such a good guy, and his piercing blue eyes didn't hurt either. Chace Crawford's been busy since Gossip Girl, with three movies currently in post-production: Eloise, Undrafted, and What's The Point?
Eric Van Der Woodsen - Connor Paolo
Serena van der Woodsen's kid brother is all grown up — and smokin' hot. You might have also seen him in TV series Revenge, just around the same time Gossip Girl was ending, and you'll be able to catch him in the drama/thriller Outlaw later this year.
Carter Baizen - Sebastian Stan
Carter Baizen may have been a smarmy douche bag a lot of the time, but he still has a place on the list of hottest Gossip Guys. Just look at him. Besides, Sebastian Stan might be the most successful one of them all after playing Bucky Barnes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Lord Marcus Beaton - Patrick Heusinger
Lord Marcus was such a positive — albeit boring — influence on Blair, it was almost a shame to see him go. Although that whole sleeping with his stepmom thing made it a lot easier to say goodbye. But Patrick Heusinger is still a hottie in real life — did he know he was even in The Black Swan?
