Earlier this month, fans got their first taste of the upcoming Transformers: The Last Knight with the release of a sleek animation that revealed the film's logo. Thankfully, we haven't had to wait too long for another teaser revealing even more info about the project. We already knew that actor Josh Duhamel would return to the franchise, and it appears he's not alone.

Paramount released another glimpse at The Last Knight earlier today, revealing that the film will go into production this June. Even more exciting, director Michael Bay confirmed via Instagram that the imposing robot in the new video is none other than Megatron, making a triumphant return to the franchise.

Megatron has been a mainstay in the Transformers franchise since the very beginning, though recent entries in the films have seen significant changes for the character. The leader of the evil Decepticons was decapitated at the end of 2011's Transformers: Dark of the Moon, only to return in the form of Galvatron in 2014's Transformers: Age of Extinction. And while he may look a little different for The Last Knight, there's no doubt that Megatron will once again seek to destroy Optimus Prime and his fellow Autobots.

Transformers: The Last Knight hits theaters June 23, 2017. What do you think of Megatron's new look? Let us know in the comments below.
