Satan has been conjured in the latest trailer for John Hunt's debut film Satanic, and he's not happy!
The film, which will have a limited theater release as well as being released for digital download, follows four friends who stop in Los Angeles on their way to Coachella music festival so they can tour true-crime occult sites. However, judging by the trailer, I somehow doubt the group will make it to Coachella after all. Satanic stars Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland, alongside Justin Chon (Twilight series), Clara Mamet (The Neighbors) and Steven Krueger (The Originals).
Take a look at the trailer below:
Satanic will be Jeff Hunt's first feature-length film, after a lengthy career as a TV director working on The Originals, The Vampire Diaries, Hawaii Five-0, Sleepy Hollow and much much more. Kristy screenwriter Anthony Jawinski wrote the screenplay.
Take a look at the synopsis for the film:
'Satanic' follows a van full of young, college-aged coeds who are visiting old Satanic Panic-era sites in Los Angeles. They end up following the creepy owner of an occult store home, only to find themselves saving a suspicious girl from an apparent human sacrifice. Only this 'victim' turns out to be much more than dangerous than the cult from which she escaped.
Satanic will have a limited theater release as well as be released on VOD and iTunes on July 1
