*WARNING: Potential spoilers for Game of Thrones, Season 6, Episode 7.
I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say that Season 6 of Game of Thrones has been absolutely insane so far. Best news is, we still have a few episodes left! Between Jon Snow being resurrected by Melisandre, and fans learning Hodor's backstory 20 years in the making, every episode has been a thrill ride.
This Sunday marks the seventh episode of the 10-episode season, and today HBO released new promotional images to whet our appetites. Here's the official synopsis for the coming installment, “The Broken Man”:
The High Sparrow eyes another target. Jaime confronts a hero. Arya makes a plan. The North is reminded.
Margaery And Olenna Tyrell
Here we can see a sweet reunion between Queen Margaery and her grandmother Olenna. Thankfully, Margaery didn't have to take the walk of attrition, but at what cost? Given her past of tactical decision-making, I think the queen has something up her sleeve.
Arya In Braavos
Now that Arya has failed her task and decided to leave the House of Black and White, she'll be hunted by the Waif under Jaqen H'ghar's go-ahead.
Sansa, Jon And Davos At House Glover
With Sansa and Jon reunited, it's starting to feel like the Stark family might have some successes after years of being beaten down. This week they will be visiting Robett Glover of House Glover and trying to rally troops behind the true wardens of the North.
Cersei And Olenna
Clearly Margaery's decision to ally herself with the High Sparrow was not what the Lannisters or Tyrells were expecting. I'm interested to see how their already fragile alliance fares in the coming episodes.
Here we get a good look at the famed warrior Blackfish Tully. As Walder Frey announced last week, he currently holds dominion over Riverrun.
Bronn And Jaime
My personal favorite photo from this week shows actor Jerome Flynn reprising his role of Bronn. We haven't see Tyrion and Jaime's loyal companion since the Season 5 finale last year. It looks like he'll join Jaime on his quest to the Riverlands.
There are only three episodes left in this season of Game of Thrones, and — in an already adrenaline-pumping run — it looks like things are just starting to ramp up.
