All aboard the Hogwarts Express! With the release date for the Harry Potter follow-up play The Cursed Child right around the corner, cast photos of the older trio and their offspring have surfaced, and we couldn't be more excited to delve back into the magical world J.K. Rowling created.
In an effort to ramp up excitement for The Cursed Child, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and the franchise as a whole, Pottermore has been releasing more fun facts and behind-the-scenes information to increase the yearning of serious Potterheads.
Most recently, the site invited some of the stars from the original series to take the official Sorting Hat quiz for the first time.
So far Rupert Grint (Ron), Bonnie Wright (Ginny), Matthew Lewis (Neville) and Tom Felton (Draco) have sorted themselves into their real-life houses, and the answers might surprise you!
Ron Weasley may have been from a long line of Gryffindors, but Grint's results placed him in the honorable Hufflepuff house instead.
"Hufflepuff! ... It wasn't what I was expecting, but that's really clever. Yeah, I love that!"
Unlike her cinematic sibling, Wright was sorted into the nobel house of Gryffindor. Although there's no wrong answer, she still expressed some relief at her results.
"Guys, I'm a Gryffindor! I feel very relieved. I feel proud!"
Yet another actor who should be swapping out his scarlet and gold robes for yellow and black. Unlike his character Neville Longbottom, Lewis takes after his favorite teacher Professor Sprout and was sorted into Hufflepuff.
"I got Hufflepuff and I'm — thrilled. No, I am! I am really happy with Hufflepuff, of course I am. Excellent!"
While there's no video footage of Felton taking his Pottermore quiz, back in January the actor tweeted out his results. Much to the dismay of his fictional family tree, he wasn't sorted into Slytherin.
There you have it! The Pottermore quiz doesn't lie. In addition to Newt Scamander, it looks like Hufflepuff has just added two great new students to its ranks and Gryffindor has gained one reluctant one.
Which Hogwarts house did Pottermore sort you into?
