Amazon has announced its upcoming lineup for the next pilot season and there's plenty there for viewers of all ages.

The big announcements were for the two brand new hour-long series, The Interestings and The Last Tycoon, which are both are adaptations of books. However the younger audience members were not forgotten, with six new shows aimed at children also announced.

The pilots are set to debut on Amazon Video in the US, UK, Germany, Austria and Japan on June 17 and will be available in 4K Ultra HD and HDR. All pilots are are available to stream and review on the Amazon Video app or at Amazon.com/amazonvideo.

The Interestings

The Interestings is an adaptation from Meg Wolitzer's acclaimed novel of the same name. The series will follow a group of artistic teens who meet at a summer camp in 1974. As the group grown into adulthood over the next few decades, their friendship is tested by the obstacles of life. Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under) will star in the lead as aspiring actress Jules Jacobson.

The Last Tycoon

The Last Tycoon is an adaptation of the last work of F. Scott Fitzgerald which was inspired by the life of film mogul Irving Thalberg. The Last Tycoon follows 1930s Hollywood Golden Boy, Monroe Stahr (Matt Bomer) as he battles with his boss Pat Brady (Kelsey Grammer) for the control of their studio. Lily Collins will also star in the series as Brady's daughter, Cecelia.

Target audience: Children ages 6–11

This live-action show is based on a classic Saturday morning series from the 1970s! Sigmund and the Sea Monsters follows brothers Johnny and Scotty who meet and befriend a friendly sea monster by the name of Sigmund. Sigmund has escaped from his old life and his own dysfunctional brothers, Slurp and Burp. However, it's not all smooth sailing, because now Johnny and Scotty must keep Sigmund safe from sea-monster hunter, Captain Barnabas.

Little Big Awesome

Target audience: Children ages 6–11

Little Big Awesome uses a mix of puppetry and live-action footage to bring us Gluko, a giant jelly and Lennon, a small kid-like creature as they explore the bizarre world of Ballopolis.

Morris and the Cow

Target audience: Children ages 6–11

This animated comedy follows 10-year-old Morris on his quest to become a cowboy! Morris is joined on his journey by his unlikely best friend, a talking cow named Florence. Together the pair explore the city of South Krumpton, and tackle everyday issues with true country spirit.

Toasty Tales

Target audience: Children ages 6–11

This animated comedy focuses on Waffle, Burger and Pants, three best friends who also happen to be Marshmallows. The friends live in the long forgotten Move-Along National Park and go on all sorts of adventures as the explore the mysteries of the park.

The Curious Kitty and Friends

Target audience: Preschool-aged children

The Curious Kitty and Friends is a stop-motion animated show where children join the exciting adventures of a kitty named Komaneko as she explores the world with the help of her friends. As a naturally curious cat, Komaneko uses her video camera and knapsack to make her own movies starring her favorite dolls, Wink and Ink.

Jazz Duck

Target audience: Preschool-aged children

Jazz Duck is an animated series aimed at helping youngsters explore sounds and musical potential all around them. The eponymous Jazz Duck is part-duck, part-saxophone and a whole bundle of fun. Joined by the Narrator and other animal friends, Jazz Duck heads out on adventures through the loud and noisy Big City which "culminate in a musical jam."

The pilots will be available to watch on Amazon Video on June 17.
