In mid-May, it was announced that another Transformers movie was finally revving up that Energon cube, with exciting news that Josh Duhamel has been added to the project to star as Lieutenant Colonel Lennox alongside Mark Wahlberg in the Transformers 5 sequel named The Last Knight.
The last we saw of Duhamel, he was giving it his all to save the world in Transformers: Dark of the Moon back in 2012:
What other information has emerged regarding Transformers 5 and The Last Knight?
And as details continue to gradually emerge regarding the epic franchise, such as the first teaser of Megatron for example, fans all over the world could not be more excited. Just last week, director and producer announced the return of the nemesis Decepticon via Instagram.
Now though, Bay has posted another image of the Transformers 5 set, reassuring fans that filming for The Last Knight is well underway. Just like the Furious 8 production, the crew seem to be in Cuba right now, as shown by the director's caption to the following Instagram post:
"Cuba! There's a Robot in there."
As far as we can gather, the above clip shows an old-school motorcycle with a sidecar — a vehicle that is quite possibly a robot character in its car form. Sweet!
What else can we expect from The Last Knight sequel in the Transformers sequel?
As for another casting potential, whether or not Michael Bay has accepted Tyrese Gibson's pleas to join Transformers: The Last Knight though is still relatively unknown. We can only hope!
We do know however, that 14-year-old Isabela Moner will be joining the cast in the epic throwdown with the Decepticons. British actor Stephen Merchant is also rumored to star, alongside French icon Jean Dujardin.
