Yesterday we reported that were rumors circulating around Justice League: Part One's official title. The report suggested that this was only a working title for the film and, in fact, Warner Bros. were considering four other potential titles for their Justice League film. The rumoured titles were Justice League United, Justice League: Angels and Demons, Justice League: Gods Among Us and Justice League: Gods Among Men.

In response to said rumours, the co-chief of DC Film's division, Geoff Johns, has taken to twitter to clear up the confusion, dispel the rumours and announce the official title of the upcoming Justice League film is quite simply - Justice League.

They say less is more and I think that Justice League says more than enough - it's subtle, simple and basically does exactly what it says on the tin. Many had previously thought that after Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, we would get another mouthful of a title. But this announcement from Johns has only just added to the anticipation for Justice League that was kicked up a notch then those rumours surfaced yesterday.

We already know quite a bit about Justice League and now that we know the title, our anticipation has grown even more. After the negative critical reception of Batman v Superman, you can bet that both DC and Warner Bros. will be pulling out all the stops to make the biggest entry in the DC Extended Universe a success. Not only will we see Ben Affleck, Hanry Cavill and Gal Gadot return as Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, we will also see Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher and Jason Momoa officially debut as The Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman. With arguably the most famous superheroes in the world, Justice League is undoubtedly going to be one of 2017's biggest releases!

Justice League may not be out until November 2017 but you don't have to wait until then to see more of the DC Extended Universe as Suicide Squad hits theatres this Summer on August 5th, 2016 and Wonder Woman hits theatres next Summer on June 2, 2017. So whether you're excited for Justice League or not, it won't be long until this image becomes a reality on the big screen! Mark it on your calendar: Justice League is coming - the heroes will unite on November 17, 2017!

Do you like the title Justice League? Or would you have preferred a lengthier title? Let us know in the comments below!
