After the rumored titles for DC's highly anticipated Justice League movie (which is set to be released in November 2017) were released by Heroic Hollywood, the internet was ablaze with discussion and theories. However, this was extremely short-lived, as the newly appointed head of DC Films, Geoff Johns kindly clarified the news for us:

The first ever live-action Justice League movie will simply be titled Justice League.

The other rumored titles included:

  • Justice League: Gods Among Us, which seems to have been inspired from the heavy allusions to the popular comic and video game Injustice: Gods Among Us in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, particularly the Knightmare scene, and the Flash "warning" scene.
  • Justice League: Angels and Demons
  • Justice League: United, a simple title indicating that the movie will be about how the League comes together.
  • Justice League: Gods Among Men

Justice League opens in theaters on November 17, 2017.
